Spring is almost here! Soon it will be time to get out there and asses the affects that this past winter has had on the garden. Not much snow may have been a good thing for us but that’s not always so for plants. Many of them depend on a reliable snowpack to help protect against severe cold and without it they can become vulnerable and either damaged or killed. The continuously fluctuating temperature extremes, such as experienced this past winter, can wreak havoc on a plants physiology. Let’s hope our terrestrial friends have lived to see another season in the garden. Happy Planting!
